The Nokia N8 is a very important mobile for Nokia because it marks the launch of its Symbian^3 operating system and it also seems to be taking on the role of being a flagship for Nokias mobile lineup.
The Nokia N8 has attracted a lot of attention because of its 12 mega-pixel camera which has a Carl Zeiss Lens and Xenon Flash and is thought to rival the quality of mid-range digital cameras.
Other noticable features include a 3.5 inch touch-screen display, 16GB of internal memory, built-in GPS. Dolby Digital Surround Sound, HDMI port and full 3G support. It also comes pre-loaded with Ovi Maps, Social networking applications as has the ability for personalised home-screens.
The main feature of the phone is the 12 megapixel camera, which has a large image sensor said to rival those found in compact digital cameras, meaning the phone should be capable of producing some excellent quality photos. It also has the ability to shoot HD video.
According to one online retailer the Nokia N8 will launch on the 26th August, which isnt that far away. They have started taking pre-orders and we have no reason to doubt why the date can't be right. They have priced the mobile at £420 , which reflects the premium quality of the new mobile.
